- Lab order through Quest Diagnostics: CBC, CMP, A1C, Lipid Panel, TSH (additional labs can be ordered for fee based on requested lab)
- Comprehensive health history review for patients that have confirmed Sleep Apnea but do not have a primary care doctor and do not want to use insurance for bloodwork
- Zepbound Prescription (if appropriate)

FDA Approves Zepbound for OSA
Recently, the FDA approved Zepbound (Tirzepatide) for the treatment of moderate-to-severe obstructive sleep apnea (OSA) in adults with obesity. Tirzepatide, previously approved for obesity under brand name Zepbound works by mimicking hormones that regulate appetite and blood sugar levels. Clinical trials showed that Zepbound significantly reduced breathing disruptions during sleep and helped with weight loss.
What Is Obstructive Sleep Apnea?
Obstructive Sleep Apnea (OSA) is a sleep disorder where breathing repeatedly stops and starts. The most common type, Obstructive Sleep apnea, occurs when throat muscles relax and block the airway during sleep. Symptoms include loud snoring, episodes of stopped breathing during sleep, gasping for air, and excessive daytime sleepiness. Obesity is a main contributor to OSA.

At your initial consult you will meet a licensed medical provider that will evaluate your medical history to see if you are able to be prescribed Zepbound for treatment of your obstructive sleep apnea. Our program includes comprehensive lab review, personalized health evaluations, and continuous support. We aim to empower our patients with the tools and knowledge they need to achieve sustainable health outcomes.
Sleep Program Requirements
- Diagnosis: You must have a diagnosis of obstructive sleep apnea based on a previously completed sleep study.
- Sleep Report: A copy of the sleep report must be provided.
- Bloodwork: Bloodwork within the past 12 months is required. We can facilitate this if necessary, either through your insurance-covered lab or as part of the initial consultation.
